Rosie Red is built on multiple fully-redundant SIP-based soft switches bringing together the
"best of both worlds"; the reliability, functionality, rich application
sets of a PBX with the flexibility of IP networks.
Connectivity
Connecting to RosieTALK is highly versatile. We expect the majority of new customers
to connect directly to our service by some form xDSL/MPLS. RosieTALK also offers full
interconnection with any PBX that supports QSIG [all PBX's manufactured in the last 6
years should support this]. Using an intermediate gateway, we can provide full
desk-to-desk dialing and feature transparency.
Our customers call traffic does not traverse the public Internet and is "on
net" to us. In this way we can control the quality of the call from the network
core out to the end user telephone.
Network Security
To protect the IP network we have the facility of a session border controller. This
is a single solution that works with an existing firewall and safeguards the network
against service disruption. Furthermore it protects the privacy of IP addresses and
telephone numbers from third parties allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of VoIP
without any of the worry.
RosieTalk is distributed between two London data centres and is patrolled 24/7.
